Pink and Yellow Geometric Plant Dyed Scarf, Organic Cotton

It is a light weight fabric that appears a little bit sheer in direct light. It is generously sized and can be spread out and worn as a shawl or scrunched up and worn as a scarf. It can also be used as a wrap or sarong and some customers even use these textiles as lightweight lap blankets or even table coverings.
I hand painted this scarf using fabric paints I made from natural dyes. It has a geometric pattern of red, pink, yellow, and orange. Some blocks of color are slightly variegated with light and dark coloring. It is truly one of a kind! The background is a very pale blush pink and a few triangles of color float in the center section. Dyes used to create these beautiful bright colors were cochineal, sappanwood, weld, and madder. The colors are permanent and this scarf is hand washable.
