Pale Pink Maple Leaf Botanical Print Scarf

This unique silk scarf has been dyed with natural cochineal dye to create a pale pink background. It was then printed with real maple leaves resulting in detailed leaf prints that are light green with dark pink dots at the end of the stems. The colors are created right from the leaves - no synthetic inks, dyes or paints were added. Colors are not only all natural but are permanent and this scarf is hand washable.
To make the leaf prints on this scarf, real leaves were gathered and bundled with the fabric making each scarf completely one of a kind. Through an eco friendly process, the natural pigments in the leaves were permanently transferred to the silk fabric.

The fabric is 100% silk charmeuse. It has a beautiful sheen on the front and a matte finish on the reverse. Leaf prints are visible on both sides but are more vibrant on the front. Colors are permanent and this scarf in washable.

- Gently hand wash.
- Use mild soaps.
- No tumble dry. Hang or lay flat to dry.
- Iron using silk settings.
- Do not dry clean.
