Indigo Dyed Peace Silk Scarf, Moon Design
Wrap yourself in in this gorgeous, eco friendly and fair trade silk wrap! It is made from cruelty-free peace silk, which means the silk was harvested without harming the silkworms that spun it. It is Fair Trade certified and and was handwoven by craftspeople in India and then hand dyed by me.
The background of this wrap is a beautiful medium shade of blue created by all natural indigo dye. Before dyeing it I hand stitched the fabric to create a large full moon design on each end of the scarf. It is completely one-of-a-kind and is truly a wearable piece of art!
The fabric is soft and light with a subtle texture due to the handwoven, raw silk. It is generously sized and can be spread out and worn as a shawl or scrunched up and worn as a scarf. The short ends are fringed. You will receive the exact scarf shown in the photos. All scarves come packaged in a gift box with an information and care sheet included.
