Cota tinctoria
Grow your own yellow dye! This lovely plant is a short-lived perennial (I find I need to replant every couple years) that produces an abundance of cheery yellow flowers. It dyes mordanted fiber a beautiful shade of sunshine yellow that is very colorfast.
Full sun is ideal and plants grow 1 - 2 feet tall. These seedlings are in 4 inch pots.
