Cosmos sulphureus
Sulfur cosmos are an annual flowering plants that grows several feet tall. The flowers are fiery orange and make a dye for fiber that is nearly the same vibrant color.
The flowers also make beautiful prints in eco printing and can be used to make orange pigment for making watercolor paint or pastels.
Full sun is ideal. Choose a 4 inch pot or a slightly larger plant in a 6 inch pot.
