Relax with this luxurious silk eye pillow. It is filled with organic flax seeds and organic lavender to provide a relaxing weight and aromatherapy to rest your tired eyes. The silk fabric feels so smooth and soft against your skin!
The fabric is 100% silk that has been hand-dyed by myself using all natural pant dyes. The background is a deep burgundy color that I dyed using natural madder root dye. The leaves were printed through a process in which the natural pigments of the leaves themselves are permanently transferred to the fabric. No synthetic inks, dyes or paints are used. The leaf pigments reacted with the natural dye to create salmon-pink prints of Japanese maple, alder, and lace-leaf maple leaves.
Several eye pillows with this fabric are available. Exact placement of leaf prints will vary, as seen in photos.
CONSTRUCTION
Seams are all professionally finished on the inside and double stitched on the edge so the organic flax and lavender filling will be sure to stay where it's supposed to - inside!
USE
It is useful for soothing tired eyes, meditation, relaxation, or restorative savasana at the end of yoga. Kids love them too! .
SIZE
Eye pillow measures approximately 9 x 4 inches (23 x 10 cm), allowing it to completely cover the eyes. It weighs just under half a pound so it is a gentle weight on the eyes and the flax and lavender are able to mold into a comfortable shape.
